Under the slogan “Ramadan, Spring of Quran,” Al- Samawah Technical Institute Mosque hosted a Quranic recitation forum. More than 30 male and female students from various departments of the institute participated in the Quranic forum, which was attended by Prof. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutawaki, Dean of the Institute, and a number of affiliates.
The Quranic forum witnessed the presence of distinguished voices with a promising future in the field of Quranic recitation. The participants demonstrated good and advanced levels of performance from a number of students who could participate in all Quranic forums.
The goal of holding this type of competition is to encourage young people to embrace ideal values and connect them to the Quran during the holy month of Ramadan.
The winners of the forum were announced as students Hussein Khalil from the Oil and Gas Refining Department, Abdul-Baqir Shalawi Yasser from the Medical Laboratories Department, Mustafa Ali Shiaa from the Community Health Department, and Muhammad Ghadhanfar Latif from Nursing Technology.
