On the occasion of National Quran Day, and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Middle Euphrates Technical University, the Media and Government Communication Division at the Samawah Technical Institute, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a course entitled “Rules of Recitation and Tajweed,” with the participation of a number of the institute’s staff and students.
The course included theoretical and practical components covering the correct foundations of Quranic recitation, the rules of Tajweed, and the articulation points of letters. This aimed to improve the level of recitation and enhance a correct understanding of the Holy Quran, as well as to instill Quranic and ethical values within the university community.
This event aimed to commemorate this national occasion, promote religious and cultural awareness, and spread a culture of interest in the Holy Quran, both in recitation and contemplation. This aligns with the educational institution’s mission to develop individuals intellectually and morally, and to contribute to preparing a generation of university students who are aware and committed to authentic Islamic values.
