The Board of Directors of the Samawah Technical Institute held its fifth open meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawki, Dean of the Institute, and attended by all members of the Board.
The Dean opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the importance of discussing the items on the agenda. He commended the efforts made by the academic departments, divisions, and administrative units in creating a suitable learning environment that contributes to enhancing the educational process. He also conveyed the greetings of the President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and his directives regarding several academic and administrative matters.
Professor Dr. Al-Mutawki stressed the need to strengthen teamwork and elevate the overall standards of the university, urging faculty members to actively contribute to scientific research to achieve the desired academic level and meet the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.
The Board discussed several items on the agenda, most notably:
Examination procedures and approved examination regulations.
Expenditure rationalization and annual financial reconciliation.
Newly established departments. Discussion of the scientific plan (first position) and the research plan (first position).
Discussion of the proposed initiatives.
At the conclusion of the session, a number of recommendations and decisions were adopted to support the scientific and administrative progress of the institute, in line with the university’s directions and strategic plans.
