Under the supervision and in the presence of the Dean of the Samawah Technical Institute, Professor Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawgi, the Department of Legal Management Technologies, in cooperation with the Legal Division at the Samawah Technical Institute/Middle Euphrates Technical University, organized an awareness activity on the types of administrative corruption.
This activity was based on the directives of the Middle Euphrates Technical University/Legal Affairs Department to hold Integrity Week. The Legal Division, in cooperation with the Department of Legal Management Technologies, organized an awareness exhibition that addressed the various forms and manifestations of administrative corruption, its causes, and its negative effects on institutions. It also reviewed methods for addressing and reducing its spread, and ways to enhance legal and institutional awareness to combat it.
During his attendance, the Dean of the Institute emphasized the importance of establishing the values of integrity and transparency within the university environment and promoting legal awareness among students and staff, which contributes to building sound educational institutions based on adherence to the law and social responsibility.
The activity witnessed a positive response from the students and affiliates, who reviewed the informational materials on display, stressing the importance of continuing such awareness-raising events that contribute to spreading a culture of integrity and combating corruption.
