Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the supervision of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and within a strategic vision aimed at supporting young talent and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Samawah Technical Institute continues its activities for the 2026 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week for the fourth consecutive day, coinciding with Global Entrepreneurship Week, and with the close follow-up of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawgi.
In this context, the Institute organized the “Student Innovations in Devices Exhibition” as part of its efforts to keep pace with modern teaching methods and enhance the digital learning environment that supports creativity.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the Institute in the presence of the Head of the Oil and Gas Refining Technologies Department and a number of faculty members and students from the department. The exhibition included displays of production, educational, and testing equipment for specialized oil and gas refining products, manufactured by students under the supervision of their professors. These devices meet international standards and are produced at low cost, reflecting the level of creativity and technical excellence possessed by the Institute’s students. The Dean of the Institute stressed that the main message of these events is that investing in youth is the real investment in the future, noting the continued organization of activities that support student talents and encourage them to employ modern technologies in developing their scientific and entrepreneurial capabilities.
