The Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Organizes a Scientific Visit to the Samawah Oil Refinery
As part of the scientific activities organized by the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University aimed at equipping students with technical skills, the university arranges scientific visits to industrial work sites. Among these was a visit by the Department of Oil and Gas Refining Technologies at the Samawah Technical Institute, part of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, to the Samawah Oil Refinery, which belongs to the Midland Refineries Company. The visit was conducted within the framework of the methodological training course for the department’s students, under the supervision of the Dean of the Samawah Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutawki, and in coordination with the head of the department, Idris Hammoudi, along with a number of instructors.
The specialized engineering staff supervising these workshops provided a detailed explanation of the nature of the work.
It is worth mentioning that the administration and staff of the Samawah Oil Refinery have shown tangible cooperation in this regard.
