The Technical Institute in Samawah at Al-Furat Al-Wasat Technical University, in cooperation with Sumy University (Ukraine), organized an international scientific workshop entitled “The Philosophy of Identity and Responsibility” through the Continuing Education Unit, under the management of Mr. Idris Hammoudi, with the participation of a number of teaching staff, students, and those interested in intellectual and cultural affairs.
The workshop aimed to highlight the concept of identity in light of contemporary transformations, to explain the complementary relationship between individual identity and societal responsibility, as well as to enhance awareness of the importance of building a balanced personality capable of positively interacting with its surroundings.
The workshop included multiple axes that addressed the philosophical foundations of the concept of identity, the impact of ethical values in consolidating the sense of responsibility, in addition to discussing the challenges facing young people in preserving their identity in the era of cultural and technological openness.
The workshop witnessed notable interaction from the attendees through questions and interventions that enriched the discussion and contributed to the exchange of visions and ideas.
This event comes as part of the institute’s efforts to support scientific and cultural activities, contributing to the development of intellectual awareness and the enhancement of human values among students.
