Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawki, Dean of Al-Samawah Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), honored a number of institute staff who actively contributed to implementing the training plan of the Continuing Education Unit for the academic year 2025–2026, in recognition of their distinguished efforts and contributions to the success of the training programs and the achievement of their set objectives.
During the honoring ceremony, the Dean emphasized the importance of continuing to work as one team to advance continuing education programs and enhance their role in developing scientific and professional capabilities. He praised the efforts made by the participants in implementing the activities and training courses held at the institute during the current academic year.
For their part, the Continuing Education staff expressed their appreciation for the ongoing support provided by Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawki to this endeavor, noting his direct contribution to implementing three training courses, including an international course, despite his numerous administrative and academic responsibilities. This reflects his great interest in developing institutional performance and supporting scientific and training activities.
The process of evaluating the participants in implementing the training plan was based on a set of approved criteria that reflected the amount of effort exerted, the level of participation, and the impact achieved in the completion of the training programs.
The institute staff also praised the pioneering role of the Continuing Education Unit and its staff in preparing, organizing, and implementing the training and scientific plan, which contributed to achieving outstanding results at the level of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and securing top ranks in the annual evaluations of continuing education activities.
