The Dean of the Samawah Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutoki, received in his office the university committee tasked with monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Continuing Education Units within the formations of the Middle Euphrates Technical University. The committee was headed by Professor Dr. Mahdi Hatif, Director of the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency, and included Mr. Haider Mohammed Abbas as a member.
The visit included a field tour of the Continuing Education Unit and its training halls, during which the committee reviewed the nature of the implemented programs and activities, the mechanisms for organizing courses, workshops, and scientific seminars, as well as the achievement indicators and the level of engagement with the requirements of the local community and state institutions.
The committee also discussed the approved training plans and their implementation rates, in addition to the administrative and organizational procedures followed in managing developmental programs, in line with the university’s strategic directions aimed at enhancing human resource efficiency and expanding the scope of continuing education.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee praised the advanced level achieved by the Continuing Education Unit at the institute and its effective organization and distinguished performance. The committee affirmed that the results reflect the extent of interest and support provided by the institute’s deanship to training and developmental activities, which has contributed to achieving advanced ranks in performance evaluations over the past years.
