Samawa Technical Institute wins first place in a number of events in the Middle Euphrates Technical University Swimming Championship

Under the patronage of the President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Student Activities Department concluded the university swimming championship for students of the university formations, which was held in Babylon Governorate, hosted by the Babylon Technical Institute and Al-Musayyab Technical College, and at the Ishtar Olympic Pool.

12 formations from the university participated in the tournament, and the Samawa Technical Institute won.

First place in the (freestyle swimming) event and first place in the (freestyle swimming relay) event was achieved by the student Hussein Abbas, and the institute obtained third place through the student Amir Jasim in breaststroke swimming.

It is noteworthy that the championship is part of the Student Activities Department’s curriculum for the academic year 2024-2025, first semester.
