The Deanship of Al-Samawah Technical Institute and the Technical College of Engineering for Oil and Energy in Al-Muthanna held a celebration on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of Victory Day on the institute’s grounds, in the presence of the Dean, members and students of the institute and the college.
The celebration began with the recitation of blessed verses from the Holy Quran and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs and raising the Iraqi flags. After that, Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutawaki, Dean of Al-Samawah Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, delivered a speech in which he praised the great sacrifices of our heroic fighters from our armed forces, counter-terrorism forces and the sacred Popular Mobilization Forces who drew immortal pictures in the book of our homeland as they fought their just battles against terrorism, recalling the righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
