Department of Information and Communications Technology at Al-Samawah Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in cooperation with the Scientific Division – Continuing Education, held a workshop entitled (Creating a website in SharePoint) attended by a number of members of the department and other scientific departments.
The workshop highlighted improving document management and enhancing collaboration, in addition to creating and managing corporate websites and automating administrative processes, and that SharePoint is a system from Microsoft for document management and it is part of Microsoft 365. Its main uses include document management, collaboration between teams, creating websites, automating workflow, and securing information. SharePoint consists of SharePoint Online (cloud version), SharePoint Server (local version), and OneDrive for Business. Its most prominent features include integration with Microsoft Office, high customization, security and privacy, and smart search.
The workshop aims to enable participants to manage documents and enhance collaboration effectively.
