The Accounting Technology Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at Al-Samawah Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, held a course titled “Technology and Its Impact on Accounting.”
This course addressed the topic of artificial intelligence and its connection to the use of accounting programs and systems that utilize AI technologies to analyze massive amounts of financial data in minimal time and effort. This contributes to identifying accounting trends and patterns that are not perceived by the human mind, ultimately leading to sound decisions for more efficient financial management and, consequently, improving the overall financial situation and performance.
The course aims to introduce participants to technology, which plays a crucial role in developing the accounting and auditing profession, contributing to improved efficiency and accuracy in recording and analyzing financial transactions. Through the use of advanced programs and digital tools, accountants and auditors can now perform their tasks more effectively and reduce human error.
