Under the supervision and presence of the Dean of Al-Samawah Technical Institute, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutoki, the scientific committees in the departments of Electrical Technologies, Surveying Technologies, and Information and Communication Technology have continued discussing their students’ graduation projects. The discussions were attended by the department heads, staff members, as well as a number of students.
The discussions witnessed a diversity of project titles, spanning advanced applied and industrial fields. Most notable projects included: preparing the general layout plan of Al-Samawah Technical Institute buildings using surveying drones, designing a smart electricity meter, artificial intelligence applications, control of fixed-wing drones, data transmission using Li-Fi technology, in addition to creating an electronic system to reduce traffic congestion during emergencies.
These projects aim to qualify students and prepare them to integrate into the labor market by equipping them with scientific and practical skills based on modern industrial applications. This contributes to supporting vital sectors, particularly electricity, surveying, and information and communication technology, while keeping pace with rapid technological development.
