Under the patronage of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Al-Samawa Technical Institute hosted the activities of the Modern Teaching Methods courses announced by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. These courses are designated for all scientific and humanities specializations, as part of the university’s efforts to develop teaching staff skills and enhance academic and educational performance.
The in-person lectures are held in the Continuing Education halls at the institute. The courses for humanities, administrative, and engineering specializations have already commenced, with wide participation from trainees seeking to obtain a certificate in Modern Teaching Methods in accordance with the standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
It has also been announced that two additional specializations will be added in the upcoming phases—namely, the educational specialization and the applied specialization—contributing to the inclusion of various knowledge fields in these important training programs.
The courses are lectured by specialized professors from the Continuing Education Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. They present a range of scientific and practical themes related to modern teaching methods, effective education strategies, and contemporary assessment approaches, in line with the requirements of higher education quality and the development of teaching capabilities.
These courses are part of the training program adopted by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to enhance the efficiency of teaching staff and prepare them according to the latest locally and internationally approved educational methods.
