The Board of Directors of the Technical Institute of Samawah held its twelfth open session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawgi, Dean of the Institute, and attended by the board members.
The board discussed a number of important topics on the agenda, foremost of which were the results of first-year students, and reviewed key indicators related to academic performance, thereby contributing to the development of the educational process and improving student standards.
The board also addressed the matter of summer training sites, emphasizing the need for department heads to follow up on these sites, as well as for academic and practical supervisors to do the same, in order to ensure that training programs are implemented according to set objectives and that students achieve the desired benefit.
The session also included discussions on assignments and tasks for institute staff during the summer break, ensuring the continuity of administrative and academic work and the completion of assigned tasks according to the specified plans.
As part of preparations for the new academic year 2026–2027, the board discussed developing a comprehensive action plan that includes utilizing the summer vacation to carry out maintenance work on lecture halls and scientific laboratories, and preparing the educational environment to ensure the best conditions are in place to welcome students at the start of the new academic year.
At the conclusion of the session, the Dean emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and working as a cohesive team to accomplish assigned tasks, thereby strengthening the Institute’s academic and administrative trajectory and achieving its goals of providing distinguished technical education.
