Department of Construction and Building, in cooperation with the Technical College of Engineering for Oil and Energy and Al-Muthanna Environment Directorate, and within the plan of the Continuing Education Unit at Al-Samawah Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, held a workshop attended by a number of affiliates and representatives from the Environment Directorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop addressed a number of topics, as an overview of climate change was presented and its negative effects and repercussions on the surrounding environment were clarified. The predictive model of climate change for the period from 2025 to 2100 was also addressed, and the Local Adaptation Plan (LAPs) was presented.
The workshop aims to clarify the expected risks in the coming years and spread climate and environmental awareness among citizens in contributing with government agencies to participate in addressing the deterioration in climate change.
