The Accounting Techniques Department at the Samawah Technical Institute, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University , held a course titled “Utilizing the Balance Sheet to Support the Counter-Terrorism Service within the Contemporary Security Dimensions of the State.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course addressed the role of the balance sheet within the Counter-Terrorism Service by utilizing accounting information to enhance the contemporary security dimensions of the state. The balance sheet is one of the most important financial statements, reflecting the financial position of governmental and security institutions at a specific point in time. It reveals the size of available assets, outstanding liabilities, and the entity’s equity, thus contributing to supporting both security and financial decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course also discussed the importance of using balance sheet data in security resource planning, achieving efficiency in allocating financial and material resources, and ensuring the financial sustainability of security operations. This, in turn, strengthens the Counter-Terrorism Service’s ability to confront evolving security challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
