The Electrical Engineering Department at the Samawah Technical Institute, part of the Al-Samawa Technical Institute \/ Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, held a training course titled “Quantum Computing” in the Continuing Education Hall. Several institute staff members participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course included an introductory lecture on the concept of quantum computing, highlighting its fundamental principles, such as superposition, quantum entanglement, and uncertainty principle. Practical examples were also presented, illustrating how quantum computers operate and outlining the key differences between them and traditional computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course aimed to demonstrate the importance of quantum computing as a modern technology representing a qualitative revolution in the world of information technology. This is due to its high capacity for data processing and solving complex problems with great speed and efficiency, as well as its future role in fields such as cryptography, artificial intelligence, medicine, and energy. The course also emphasized that quantum computing is a cornerstone of scientific and technological development in the modern world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was presented by Engineer Jaafar Baqir Lafteh.
