Quality Assurance and University Performance Officer

Objectives:
1) Enhance community confidence in the efficiency of the institute’s graduates.
2) Adopt international standards in the field of academic accreditation to ensure and improve the quality of education.
3) Adopt community participation in achieving excellence and creativity.
*Quality Assurance Unit Tasks:
1) Spread the culture of quality among faculty members, students and all employees by holding workshops to enhance the concepts of academic accreditation in the institute’s departments.
2) Prepare reports on the implementation of institutional and programmatic accreditation. 3) Follow up on developments in quality assurance and academic accreditation.
4) Document the institute’s institutional and programmatic accreditation standards.
5) Urging lecturers to publish scientific research in journals with international classifications
6) Conducting visits by the Quality Assurance Division to scientific departments, branches and units and identifying weaknesses in the subject of quality and urging them to address them.
7) Measuring opinion by conducting periodic questionnaires for the components of the educational process (faculty, student, curriculum)
*Tasks of the Performance Evaluation Unit:
1) Evaluating performance in the institute’s departments and doing what is necessary to determine the level of performance and its quality.
2) Establishing a database for all activities of the institute’s departments and following up on the development of the educational process in them.
3) Providing assistance, advice and counsel to all departments in the field of performance improvement programs in them.
4) Working on evaluating the electronic performance of all departments, branches and units of the institute and submitting the necessary reports regarding it.
5) Preparing final reports on the annual performance of the institute’s members.
6) Any other tasks assigned to the division by the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department to support the performance evaluation process.
* Laboratory Accreditation Unit Tasks:
1) Monitoring and auditing laboratory specifications with the requirements of approved standard specifications.
2) Determining the technical specifications of devices and equipment, coding them and documenting their data in coordination with laboratory officials.
3) Following up on the implementation of calibration programs for devices and equipment with relevant parties.
4) Coordinating with the Laboratory Accreditation Department at the university to open scheduled courses to train laboratory workers according to specializations in accordance with international specifications and national standards.
5) Working to activate the procedures and requirements determined by the Laboratory Accreditation Team in the field.
6) Coordinating with relevant parties to hold specialized courses to train members of the division on auditors and laboratory accreditation quality examiners programs.
7) Preparing a study of laboratories and scientific departments that reflects the current situation and the required improvement and addressing possible shortcomings.
*Training and Technical Support Unit Tasks: –
Establishing a database for all members of the institute and following up on all changes in the movement of the staff (transfer – assignment – leave – change of title – retirement – change of certificate – promotion of registration …………..).
