The Department of Legal Management at Al-Samawa Technical Institute is a technical department aimed at preparing specialized cadres in the legal and administrative fields. It focuses on studying laws, regulations, and administrative procedures and applying them in the work environment, qualifying students to work in government departments and private institutions in legal and administrative affairs.
The department serves as a bridge between theoretical legal knowledge and practical application, contributing to the graduation of cadres capable of dealing with modern legislation and the requirements of the legal and administrative labor market.

The Department of Legal Management aims to provide students with specialized legal knowledge and practical skills necessary to apply them in various professional fields, through distinguished educational programs concerned with theoretical and practical aspects of law. The department also seeks to enhance legal scientific research that contributes to the development of legislation and public policies, in addition to supporting effective communication with local and international communities, in order to achieve justice and strengthen the rule of law.
- Legal Consultations: Providing legal advice and consultations to institutions and individuals on various legal matters, including contracts, regulations, and legislation.
- Legal Affairs Management: Supervising internal legal procedures of institutions, such as drafting contracts and reviewing internal policies to ensure compliance with laws.
- Legal Analysis: Analyzing and studying complex legal issues and providing appropriate legal solutions based on a deep understanding of local and international legislations.
- Drafting Legal Documents: Preparing and drafting contracts, regulations, legal memos, and reports that comply with legal requirements.
- Pleading and Litigation: Representing clients before courts and judicial bodies, and preparing defenses and legal pleadings.

Objective: Teaching students to use legal and administrative software. Contains modern devices connected to an internal network.
Practical Content: Training students to write legal memos, prepare contracts, and search legal databases.
Benefit: Enabling graduates to employ technology in the legal and administrative field.
Objective: Studying criminal laws and penal procedures. Provides a training environment to simulate criminal investigations.
Content: Analyzing criminal cases and applying legal texts practically.
Benefit: Preparing students capable of handling criminal law cases professionally.
Objective: Designing a realistic simulation of court procedures. Contains a hall equipped similarly to courtrooms.
Content: Students play roles of judges, lawyers, and witnesses to apply laws practically.
Benefit: Enhancing practical skills in pleading and defense before judicial bodies.
Objective: Training students in the management of legal institutions. Includes practical applications in file organization, contract management, and transaction documentation.
Content: Models of legal office management, archiving systems, administrative procedures.
Benefit: Helps students understand the administrative side related to law and enhances the efficiency of legal work.
